This five-star rating is for the amazing delivery team — Rick and Colton! They delivered my dryer today during a winter advisory with very poor road conditions, and I cannot say enough good things about them. They were friendly, professional, and went far beyond what their job required. They shoveled my walkway, switched the dryer door so it would be easier to open, and even taped a piece of venting that had fallen off — all without hesitation. I continue to shop at Household Appliance since they are locally owned, have a large selection of furniture and appliances, and their staff is knowledgeable and very courteous and helpful.
As someone who works in customer service, the customer service I received today was extremely disappointing. I had called because I received a surprise bill after moving into our new home. The appliances in the home, including the stove, were originally purchased from Household Appliance by the previous owner. When the stove stopped working, my first instinct was to contact Household Appliance to check if it was under warranty. Garbage customer service. Came in for their Labor Day sale and needed to buy 4 appliances. I was originally going to buy Midea until the salesman confirmed I could get LG for the same price once rebates were factored in. He specifically confirmed all of the appliances would qualify. I was also told not to submit the rebate until I received all the appliances to get the serial numbers off them. When I tried to submit the rebate I found that in fact I qualified for no rebate at all. So instead of $500 back for the same price a... read more
