Astoundingly poor customer service. I requested an item, which I bought as a gift. The wood splintered on first use, so returned it within two weeks. I was told I was sold the wrong item for purpose and to name the staff member (which of course I didn’t know), was told the item was damaged with one hand wash, and they wouldn’t take it back as it was used and couldn’t be resold. False advertising. “buy one get one free” stickers across the whole store. The precise item I was buying had a “buy one get one free” sticker so I took 2 to the counter. Surprise surprise “this item is not included in the sale” they tell me, even though I point out that the sticker is literally on the item. Deceptive advertising and illegal.

Cash is legal tender in this country. Broadway shopping centre HOUSE needs to understand the law. You are breaking the law. Since your bank is renovating and has temporarily closed that doesn’t give you the excuse to say to (X customers) that you are not set up to receive cash. IT’S LEGAL TENDER UNLESS THE GOVERNMENT SAYS OTHERWISE Oh I bought a knife here, it’s a bad knife and it’s such a rip off this store. I’d go elsewhere
