I am so glad that they rebranded from CrossFit to Houma Strength & Fitness!! CrossFit has generally earned an intimidating reputation (nationally and in Louisiana), whereas Brian and Junko offer always offered extremely safe and challenging strength & fitness training in a wonderfully inviting environment. I’ve been training at this strength and conditioning gym for a little while now, and it’s been a game-changer in my recovery journey. After dealing with a major leg injury and multiple surgeries, I’ve been working hard to regain strength, stability, and confidence — and this gym has played a huge role in that progress! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming!
My experience with Brian and his crew was excellent. I wasn't sure about the 6 personal training sessions before I could attend a class but they were the best part. I found all of the coaches welcoming and very helpful. The first time I stepped in the door four of the customers came right up and introduced themselves, it is a very welcoming atmosphere. Love everything about my experience here. The community, the support and most importantly Jacob, their strength training coach. What a great set of people and a very good gym.
My experience at Crossfit Houma has been awesome! The people here are just wonderful, since I started training I feel physically stronger than I have in a long time. I am 57 years old and as a woman i needed to do something to build my strength and this is working. I have all the help and encouragement from the qualified trainers, they cheer me on and I am grateful.
