This company is not screwing their customers. i have been a client with them for the last 12+years, paying every months, and now they sent me a bill that doubled in price, and refuse to explain except ''we try to provide great customer service and our prices are fair in the industry'' Well let me tell you, they are NOT fair at all. I bought a complete package with DNS and Hosting... Their DNS with Privacy was a bit more than one of their competitors; but I decided paying a bit more was worth it to have a single vendor manage both... Well, they screwed that up... The Domain Name has records and they did not specify the right Nameserver in the Domain record, so the Domain showed as Expired... I called support and the first representative was terrible... SSL don't work
As some of the previous reviewers mentioned Host Gator will take your money for services they do not provide. I had a charge on my account in December & called within the cancelation period to refund my account. It is now March & I have not received my refund. I have called 4 times to dispute this issue and it has not been resolved.
They are great at hiking prices to rip off your credit card and when you complain the close your account and never give the money back. Complete losers. Steer clear. Go with a dedicated team in your local area. American companies have lost touch with reality. No skin off my back but if you’re relying on them they’ll do a rug pull like the cowards they are.
