I went to take out an auto loan on a Wednesday. Found a car on Saturday that would lower my APR. Called Monday to let them know. It took literally, like 7 1/2 hrs. to get a check for the actual purchase. So the process started at 9:15am and I didn't get home until 6:30pm. I'm not sure if this is asking for too much but I didn't think so. P.S.: this is only a knock against the loan officer, no problem with the Credit Union itself.
Better then the other local CU's – Unlike other local CU's Horizon's still provides service to it's customers. You aren't treated like a number and their rates are competitive.
