I’m writing this to raise awareness and protect others from what I witnessed at Horizon Credit Union in Spokane while translating for a member looking to refinance a loan from Canopy Credit Union. The member had an existing checking account with Horizon and brought all current and valid documentation, including proof of income and legal status. Walked in and inquired about starting a business checking account. I had all of the necessary paperwork in my google drive ready to be emailed and printed by a banker but the front desk lady wouldn't even let me talk to one without the physical papers in my hand. She was exceptionally rude, I was able to go to STCU and open my account with them.
