Refinanced my home loan through Horizon Bank Merimbula and the experience was excellent. Dave was attentive, proactive with follow-ups, and clearly had my best interests in mind throughout. The biggest highlight? Real human contact. Whenever I had a question, I could reach Dave or his team directly — no robot phone systems to wrestle with. In an industry where that's increasingly hard to find, it made the whole process so much smoother. Great branch, great team. Would absolutely recommend.
We refinanced through the Merimbula branch and the staff were fantastic! They were all so helpful, patient, (we had many questions), easy to deal with and you're actually talking to real people. Five stars, all the way.
I have been with Horizon for years. You can ring and someone actually answers the phone unlike any big banks. Dave and his team are always there to help and their service is excellent. I highly recommend moving to Horizon to get that old style service that we were getting when we were younger and not to mention their rates are as good if not better than the rest.
