I used to go here and I did not like the school. Bad lunches and some horrible subs! Please think carefully on what is the best for the kids, and PLEASE do some background checks. Like, seriously, my friend from another school got a sub that would HIT them. And they were in 3rd grade. That was a long time ago, but you guys need to think on what makes school FUN for kids, not just a place they have to go there every day.
A friendly neighborhood school. We have found the teachers and staff to be caring and good at what they do. My only wish is they had made the school a little larger during the rebuild. They re-purpose the gym for the cafeteria, for example, but with a little more foresight I think the space could have been use more wisely. For a town growing as quickly as Redmond is, LWSD needs to think ahead and the tax payers need to be willing to fund schools that meet the need 15-20 years down the road.
