I went into the appraisal district office at almost 1pm today. most of my dealings with government offices are painful. Today was a pleasant surprise. I met Jenell (I apologize if the spelling is incorrect.) She was professional, courteous, and beyond helpful. I was honestly shocked I was at a government office. I am still amazed at how much she helped me. She didn't offer legal advice, which I know she is not allowed to do. But she did tell me the steps I would need to take and where to start the process and what to expect.... read more
