Worst experience I’ve ever had. They issued a registration renewal stop on my vehicle in Mechanicsville yet I haven’t lived in hopewell for over 3 years. Just about a year ago they sent out a delinquent notice from 2020 and 2021 with fees that stacked as high as they could go, yet when I left hopewell initially, I called and paid what was supposed to be the entire balance, it ended up not being the whole total and they never sent correspondence prior to the delinquent notice, now a year later, I receive a letter from Hanover... read more
The low ratings for this place are justified. There is no way of knowing what you owe unless you call them up. They never send a letter to notify you about anything in collections or owed to them. Instead, I had to call them up several times this week to learn about unpaid balances from 2022 and 2023. And I had to pay over $400, which is definitely more than the worth of my car. Could not get through on the phone. Always busy. Can’t make my payment. You would think they’d have better customer service!! So much for use of my tax dollars!!
Very unprofessional have people working there that do not want to do their job keeping you on hold and not mute in the phone so you can hear the whole conversation very unprofessional Hopewell needs to do better
