I’m leaving this rating to draw attention to something I wish I had known earlier: when you are reviewing documents in court, especially documents requiring signatures, make sure your attorney uses your own copies and double-checks every date and figure. In my case, a document used an incorrect separation date of August, even though I left and separated from my ex-husband in February. Beware if using for estate planning. My dad used them for his will and other matters. I even went in with him a couple times for talks and to meet them when he was going through the process since he knew he didn’t have much time left due to cancer. Once my dad passed, they were not helpful at all in went in multiple time to try and get a copy of the will and potential other legal documents and they just kept saying, “we’ll call you”.
