My experience is strikingly similar. I cannot get any response. My emails seem to be disregarded and my phone calls go to a voice mail box that states memory is full. I really want a California Tackle Fishing Reel. Currently, Hook Set Tackle is the only place that I can find that sells these reels anymore. Needless to say, I immediately ordered them when I found them there, but I seriously doubt I will ever be able to purchase them from this “tackle shop”. I ordered some lures for my husband 2 months ago phone calls and emails go unanswered hook set tackle is a poor excuse of a company and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy anything from them they will only take your money
I placed my order on April 30, 2014 for some crappie lures, of which I only spent $34.00. Not much, but I have tried to contact them by email, 8 phone calls, 5 direct contract on their web site. No replied from them. Not even a hello! It looks like I lost that money which is not that much, but that is not the point. Their customer service is lacking and I am not sure they even care.
