After a disappointing experience elsewhere, we stopped into Hook Line & Sinker in the Fishkill area the following day and were reminded exactly why we enjoy supporting small businesses. The shop was unique, well-stocked, and had a great atmosphere. Gayle, the owner, was welcoming, friendly, fun to talk to, and incredibly helpful. Great family owned business open year round that does an excellent job serving our families and communities with great bait, helpful information and that are knowledgeable about the area and fishing. They are also Bigfoot researchers, and have a ton of information to share including pictures, articles and findings. I think Hook, Line & Sinker in Red Hook, New York is a absolute must stop in your day when introducing any kid to fishing.
