Convienent location This place has a lot of hardware items that are very cheap. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. There's always someone standing close if you need help & they're open to giving suggestions too. They helped me out a lot. PROS: None CONS: None
They Suck I have been in there a few times and experienced nothing like what the previous 2 reviews are saying. Hood's House Springs, off 30 right???? I had to order a door 4, yes 4 times because they lost the order twice (how do you do that) and took almost 3 weeks for me to finally get it. THEN, it was cut wrong. After everything, no apologees, nothing. Then every time you check out...the 17 year old $2/hr pissed off teen at the counter never even says hi or bye. No one greets you when you walk in. Be careful Ordered custom doors from Hood's and they were all wrong. I was charged for trim on the doors that I didn't want and they were cut too big for the rough opening dimensions that I provided to them I told the employee they looked too big right away and he said they were correct. The employees watched me remove the trim in their parking lot without offering to help. The manager was difficult to deal with even after seeing that the purchase order clearly listed the size of the rough opening, not the size of the door. ... read more
Wonderful store This is still one of the few customer friendly stores around. The workers will go over and beyond good service. It feels like a nice little family owned hardware store yet, nobody is related
