I finally had the chance to visit a dear friend at the Honoria today. I have to say its so nice, airy, comfortable, clean, new and lovely. I was blown away! Loved the cleaness, hallways, the decors, art work etc. Very homey home to be. Staffs friendly ( screener ) love the new med masks ( with foam strip to prevent ) fogging up the glasses. Love it! The staff at honoria are all very friendly and caring. The facility is clean, and they make a good effort to help create a community with activities and birthday celebrations. The food is good, and the staff attentive. I’m not sure why this has received low reviews - this is a government funded facility, you’re not going to get a luxury experience here. Yes, of course, there could be more staff, but the staff that’s there care, and look out for the residents and facility.

This has to be the worst care facility I’ve ever witnessed. I have a family member living at HC and they are absolutely miserable with the staff, food, cleaning care. It seems they only clean if visitors are stopping in. The food looks like microwaveable TV dinners with zero nutrition, just horrid. I’ve had unacceptable & shocking encounters with the staff, they simply do not care. They’ve actually hung up on me while trying to get a wellness check on my family member. Saddening that people have to live in such conditions.
