Had an amazing experience with HonDep today moving from Wilmington Island to Pooler. We had Vernard and Q as our movers, and they took exceptional care of my furniture. For me, my biggest concern was getting my couch out of my apartment, as the way my door is set up it makes it extremely difficult. When Ashley’s Furniture delivered the couch, they damaged it slightly (they sent a technician out to repair later) trying to bring it into the apartment, and took a very long time getting it into the apartment and put together. I would absolutely use their services again. Chandler and Bernard and his team were super friendly and professional the entire time. I’m military and have had issues before with the military provided movers and I definitely made the right call using these guys. They handled our stuff with care from start to finish, nothing was broken in transit, and they were significantly cheaper than their competition.
HonDep was recommended to us by our Realty company. The move was a two day nightmare. Three very disorganized guys mishandled every aspect of our move, over promised and under delivered. Damage was done to paint in our old house and to a custom dresser. Dealing with Chandler and Bernard was like talking to the wall. One of the guys on the team was pretty good and the other was a moron. I would never use or recommend HonDep again
