On February 2, 2021, I went to my bank Hometrust Bank to deposit a stimulus check for 1,800. Upon receiving the check the teller informed me that my funds would be available the following day. Only 10 minutes after leaving I was informed that the check was being examined by the fraud department. And also that it was being held.
