Hometown Bank of Alabama is a breath of fresh air in the banking world. It I have found it to be customer friendly to a surprising extent. The people who work there are always ready to help me when I call or go in. Usually I can handle all questions or requests on the phone and I dont have to go in. I have lived outside Alabama and I am used to dealing with large banks with good reputations but Hometown Bank is the best bank I have ever used. I definitely give it five stars.

I am not sure what problems anyone would have with Hometown Bank to cause them to post a negative comment.They apparently have not tried to deal with some of the "major"banks lately. I can find nothing but good in dealing with Hometown. I hope they never lose that hometown feeling. I think they are great.
Great bank that actually has hours designed for people who work! I found this bank by accident when I moved to Oneonta and it was one of my best finds. Keep up the great work - youve got my business.
I love this bank. Its the best bank in town. I have had nothing but good things from this bank. Very friendly staff as well.
The worst bank ever!!! The supposed upper management doesnt know what they are doing. An orginal agreement with the Bank, will not be upheld later. So becareful with this bank or you may find yourself with a closed account, at their discretion!!!
your bank is very convient both i and my husband do our banking with home town ,my dad mike cox even did some of the rock work on the new bank.goodluck hometown bank in our new year together.
This bank still has its flaws. The posting is slow, the internet account summary is not the easiest to read. The people are super friendly though, but thier security as far as internet accounts needs work.
