Love this bank! My husband and I have been banking at Hometown for the past 5 years. When you walk through the door you are made to feel special because someone always greets you with a smile and a big hello. The tellers are always friendly and helpful. We had a loan there and it was approved quickly. Hometown does not have to get approvals from a bank in another state. All decisions are made right there. Would highly recommend.
I will never bank anywhere else as long as they continue their current business practices. I have been banking with them for about 8 years now and they are still great.
I have been doing business with Hometown Bank since they opened. Every employee that I have dealt with has been very friendly and professional. By far the best bank that I have ever used.
I am very disappointed in home town bank it only takes them 1 second to take your with out authorization but it takes days for them to give it back if you even get back. I will glad when I can back to the bank so I can try to salvage what little bit of money I have left,

The people who work there are always ready to help me when I call or go in. Usually I can handle all questions or requests on the phone and I dont have to go in. I have lived outside Alabama and I am used to dealing with large banks with good reputations but Hometown Bank is the best bank I have ever used. I definitely give it five stars.

I am not sure what problems anyone would have with Hometown Bank to cause them to post a negative comment.They apparently have not tried to deal with some of the "major"banks lately. I can find nothing but good in dealing with Hometown. I hope they never lose that hometown feeling. I think they are great.
Great bank that actually has hours designed for people who work! I found this bank by accident when I moved to Oneonta and it was one of my best finds. Keep up the great work - youve got my business.
