This bank is GOD AWFUL HORRIBLE for a small business. No financial issues here, they keep your money safe - most all banks do. The thing is Homestreet keeps your cash EXTRA SAFE by: No contactless payments Cannot access app oversees Only allows tax and financial apps 90 DAYS of history - so it’s very hard to do your taxes Website is clunky and poor design - absolutely redundant at every click Cannot link with apple wallet - or any other form of touch/verify payment The entire digital experience screams “we are so afraid of f... read more
Absolute terrible bank. They used to be okay. Now they are terrible. They used to waive atm fees. Now they will charge you $1.50 if you use an ATM out of their network. They have high fees for international travel, little resources for communicating with them, when making purchases the transactions don’t show up on the mobile app for days so I never know my true balance, and I’m just having trouble finding a single reason to stay. So I switched because they don’t do a single thing better than any other bank.
This bank, and all her lovely people, give me hope for humanity. Moving my money from Bank of America to HomeStreet, and the Madison Park branch in particular, was one of the best decisions I made for my business and my personal banking. They are accessible, good communicators, great problem-solvers, and very community minded. Great for non-profits and small businesses. Customer for life.
