Don’t even bother. Unfortunately I was in contact with Kim, and every interaction I had her tone of voice made it seem like I was bothering her when I would call. When you’re struggling financially, and in fear of losing your home, the last thing you need is someone making you feel like you’re a bother. And that’s exactly how Kim made me feel but I ignored it cause I was desperate. She told me they could only help once RAFT did, and once I contacted her again, she said I didn’t make enough income to be supported by homestart... read more

Worst EVER experience with housing/help agency: When I needed short-term housing help after a bad relapse I was overjoyed and grateful to find HOMESTART on Chauncey St. Boston. LANDLORDS BEWARE-Homestart FATIMA and LORETTA PROMISED funds for 2 years, and PROMISED to support even after 2 years. After 6 MONTHS, they pulled funding, now we are evicting two tenants.

Been waiting for 3-weeks for someone from the higher management team from Rapid Rehousing to give me a call regarding a client & still no call back. This resource is designed to assist/support individuals & families but how is that even possible if they’re not even responding to emails or phone calls. Communication seems to be the issue with this agency, hopefully the state is able to review these concerns
