I arrived at HomeSense at 8:15 p.m., well before the posted 9:30 p.m. closing time. By 8:30, announcements had already started telling customers to make their final selections because the store would be closing “in an hour,” and those announcements continued every 15 minutes. I wanted to keep this complaint for upper management only and filled out a complaint form on the homesense website on June 9th in hopes of someone reaching out. I don't typically write reviews, but Kenneth at the Short Pump HomeSense absolutely earned one. From the moment I walked in, he was all smiles — greeting every customer he passed, asking if they were finding what they needed, and genuinely meaning it. It didn't matter whether he was on the floor or stocking shelves near the warehouse — he never missed an opportunity to make a customer feel welcome and cared for.
