Went to HomeSense to purchase a recliner and had a pretty frustrating experience. One of the recliners on the floor was clearly broken—the mechanism barely worked and took a lot of force to open. I pointed it out and said I wasn’t willing to pay $450 for a damaged chair. They had the exact same recliner, same model and color, for $500, so I asked if they’d sell that one to me for $450 instead. The manager refused and was honestly pretty rude about it.
