Front staff isn’t friendly, they seem like miserable woman. The woman who does your initial exam is extremely nice and helpful. The doctors are fine, no issues. It feels like the office only cares about over charging their patients. Asking for a copy of your script is a no go- it’s as if they keep it a secrete. I am so pissed at Family Vision Center of La Grange. I purchased new glasses in June of this year, they broke yesterday. Called them and said hey, was cleaning my glasses and they broke at the nose piece . Long story short, they said the frames aren’t covered under warranty because they’re discontinued...which I explained I wasn’t aware of nor did anyone tell me. Dr Maxwell was very kind, thorough, and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all during my visit. Carol and Brandy were great at helping me choose glasses and sunglasses! Can’t wait to get my new glasses soon! 🕶 👓
Best customer service ever
Staff is rude. My daughter’s dr was nice but missed that she had prism in her glasses because she let a tech read her script. We’re going back to the drawing board for another exam which is not easy with a kid who has autism.
I went here about a year ago and spent a lot of money on prescription glasses, sun glasses, and an exam. I was never given a copy of my prescription and per the FTC they are required to have provided me that after the exam (see FTC page on Eyeglass Rule - 16 CFR Part 456). I contacted them about a year later – and now they are telling me that they are unable to give me that information claiming that it isn’t “valid”. I have filed a complaint with the FTC.
Rocking out my Throwaway Terminator Glasses after getting my eyes checked and dialated at the eye doctor this morning. Have you had your eyes checked recently? Most insurance plans reset January 1st so this the perfect time to check and use your available benefits. Otherwise they go to waste. Then you can go shopping afterward. #winwin
