I love homemakers! It’s such a large store and has just about anything you could ever want or need!
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Homemakers. I purchased items online and paid in full, but when I arrived for pickup, they suddenly demanded an additional $10.65. Even after I showed the receipts and proof of payment matching the listed online price, they refused to honor it. This is unacceptable business practice and feels very misleading. I expected Homemakers to stand by their advertised pricing and respect what customers have already paid. Unfortunately, I won’t be shopping here again.
We have bought loads of furniture and accents from Homemakers over the years, and zero complaints about the products. Their customer service is less than par though. Just today, I went to return an item (with the tag on and the receipt) , and they refused because it was a clearance item. Not unreasonable to have that policy, but it is posted NOWHERE that clearance items are not refundable. I asked the clerk if it was posted and she said it was just their policy.
