Had a horrible experience today with one of the managers at this store Lucy. Wanted to purchase a painting by there was visible damage small marks on the frame. She never looked me in the eye during our entire interaction and argued with me about the size of the scratch’s and said there barley noticeable. She said I will take $2 off…. That was an offensive offer when they usually take 10%. She was so rude so I took that and the employee ringing me up had to apologize for her. I always love to shop at HomeGoods, but today was not a good experience with an employee, her name was Lucy. My husband and I picked out a vase and it was damaged on one side— the employee who was in the aisles; who was very nice said that we could get 10% off at the counter, but Lucy, who was the manager refused to give us 10% off she said “well, you can have a dollar off of it because there’s nothing wrong with it,” when it was literally damaged.
