Having been a valued customer at homegoods for many years , i was treated with disregard and rudely by Maliya. I had my receipt, which i knew which item i was returning on the itemized receipt and first of all rule # 1 never talk back to a customer belittle them and rule of thumb in this industry the customer is always right. Bad customer service we walked in at 8:30 the lady behind the register made a comment saying they are closed. We left at 8:45 and she made a comment saying “to bad you should have come earlier” and she also accused a customer of leaving a “brown poop stain” on one of the items. Then when we were in the car leaving the cashier “blonde lady” came out and stood in front of our car staring at us with an evil look. Very strange experience.
Hey! So the cashiers said “we are closing” amongst themselves as we walked in at 8:15. Then the lady was talking about how annoying customers are SO many times. “We always get busy right at 9:15 when we want to close.” Maybe you all need to be able to make a 10 minutes until close announcement so you have more peace about your job. Anyways, we are out nearly an hour before close and she stared me down on the way out.
