I had a disappointing experience at HomeGoods with the manager, Giovanni. My son wanted a tumbler that had visible damage, so I politely asked if a discount could be applied. The cashier called the manager over, and Giovanni came by but was dismissive—he said it was a “defect” and not “damage,” then simply walked away without giving any direction to the cashier or addressing my concern further. Moving into a furnished apartment-- furnished, not decorated. Home Goods had necessities like wooden spoons and coffee cups and ice tea glasses, plus bedding and bath linens, throw pillows and space rugs were found in a nice quality and a variety of design choices. A few trips over the weekend and my new space is feeling like home.
