I’m very disappointed with my experience at HomeGoods due to misinformation provided by Cindy at checkout. While purchasing items, she encouraged me to apply for the store credit card, explaining that I would receive 10% off. I specifically asked multiple times whether the application would result in a soft or hard credit inquiry. Cindy assured me that it would only be a soft pull if my credit was good enough, and only a hard pull if it went into pending review.
