Just went to home goods to grab a few things and needed pillows… I only like Serta and needed a king size. Well the last pack they had was all torn open, I asked for a discount at checkout (as I’ll have to wash them obv because that’s gross) and the “customer service” I received was NO. You don’t have to buy them. How lovely is that. Terrible customer service, I won’t return again.
Clean store
We went during Christmas rush, so not fair to judge. Very crowded, lots of merchandise, just not very organized. We bought pans separately as none were stacked together. We might go back after holidays.
Bernice the coordinator is too distracted with her own personal shopping and socializing with coworkers both behind and outside of the counter. I was first in line for a long time while she ranted about a sheepish cashier who was also at a register, then I stood at her register watching her turn around to talk to her coworkers and her headset long enough that I had to interrupt and ask if I could swipe my card. If she was actually busy it would be one thing but she just kept spinning around like it was her first time there.
This review is to address the safety concerns of their shopping carts. In the last 6mo I have run into issues with the carts every time I’ve shopped there. I bring my 1yr old with me and need a cart that has working straps/buckles. At minimum I am pulling out half a dozen carts to find one that works. The straps are either cut, buckles removed or buckle is damaged where they do not work. Marshall’s and TJ Maxx are nearby and they have newer carts with working straps. Why would Homegoods be any different?
