One Pissed-Off Customer I recently bought 2 pairs of briefs that were each worn once, then completely disintegrated when washed on a delicate lingerie cycle. I returned them to the store, along with my receipt, and was told by a snotty clerk that the store would not refund my money since they had been worn. The only way I could have discovered that I had been sold defective merchandise was to wear it and then wash it. T J Maxx is Not my choice to shop any longer I love shopping at TJmaxx's clearance section because thats the way I shop (clearance items), however this particular store in Irving on MacArthur Blvd insists on NOT giving an extra $1 or $2 off of any clearance item that may have a defect to it when clearly we know that clearance means that an item has been in the store for a long period of time (more than 3months)and needs to be marked down to sell. For instance, if a pair of jeans, regular priced at $16.99 and has a clearance ... read more
