Poor communication. The product we wanted was not in-stock we were told 1-2 months delay. Actual delay 5 months and if we cancelled a 30% cancellation fee applied, in our case that was $1500. We Reported a small defect (see attached picture) to the store that we found after delivery and were told to report it via the online customer service link. That was 4 months and still no response. The store said they kept referring to head office for updates but you cannot call head office only the store. No empathy from any employee.
I purchased 6 pieces of furniture early August from the North Lakes store and informed it would be available late August/ early Sept. there has been delay after delay with excuse after excuse. They never called me, I have had to chase them continuously. I still have 2 pieces of furniture unaccounted for that I expect I will never receive and fortunately not paid for. We paid a deposit on furniture items in August and were told items were in stock and to be delivered from the Gold Coast. A month later we were told the items were in Sydney. The told later they were in China. We have constantly been fobbed off. The store is now closed and phone disconnected . Should have followed our gut feeling
The couch was is decent condition, it had some damage and a cigarette burn on one of the cushions we weren’t told about and damage underneath the cushion, I would check before buying
