I just refinanced my house with Home State Bank. The process was smooth and efficient and the team there especially Brad and Janelle were incredible it was quick and easy they were responsive I can't say anything but positive. Thank you so much guys! The rate was very good and the appraiser was courteous professional. It was an all-around great experience.
Use caution at this branch. They will quickly go through your checks and not necessarily verify them. So, you may be out as little as $400 or as up as $200. I did make a call to the bank to let them know about this. Also, a check is a check. If they have somebody who’s not very knowledgeable, you may be sitting in the drive-through for 20 minutes, waiting for them to have a congressional hearing as to whether or not the paper note provided to them is in fact a check, no matter how big or small size the check is.
