We ordered two couches on February 17, paying a deposit of $999. The wait time was 8 - 10 weeks. On the day before the 10 weeks deadline arrived I called Home Furniture to check on progress and to enquire about paying the balance as I discovered I was a few days past the payment date. I was told to pay the supplier and our couches had just come in. I would get a call to arrange delivery day. I came on here to see if I could find a contact number only to find the business is closed down. This is devastating as the last update I had was 2 weeks ago saying that the couch would only be another 2 weeks until ready. I’ve tried contacting the number on the invoice to see what’s now happening and haven’t got a response. I want to know what’s going on.
i ordered and paid for 2 chairs invoice 2389 03/12/2023. i have called many times before you closed and was told the goods are on the ship, on the dock, would be in next week being trucked up from Melbourne etc. now i get no response as the phone is not connected and no response to my emails. so where are my goods or where is my refund.
Wow, this company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. It’s been a month since they said I’d receive my refund and then retracted telling me I had to do a chargeback through my bank…you can’t chargeback direct deposits… How hard is it to refund your customers when you haven’t provided the service!
I am only aware you have shut down from reading other reviews. No one from the "business" reached out to explain the situation. What time frame are you looking at for refunding orders? I would like to know because I actually doubt you have any intention of returning my money and expect that I am going to have to go through QCAT. STAY AWAY!! DO NOT ORDER!!
