Vi har vært her tidligere og det var veldig fint. Men vi kom forgjeves i år. Det står på nett at det er åpent for omvisninger kl 12 og 14 pluss at man kan bestille vinsmaking. Men det var ingen der, så vi ringte. Da sa de at det er stengt i hele 2024. Så da gir jeg 5 stjerner fra forrige besøk. Men egentlig ingen fra i år (2024).

Walked past the vineyard and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the location and the delivery of the tasting workshop that was on offer. George, who’s been running the place for a few years now, was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and brought the history of the wine to life, whilst providing expert knowledge around the wines presented. Highly recommended experience!

My partner and I are passionate wine lovers and have traveled extensively visiting vineyards all round the world and we were both blown away with George’s knowledge and shared passion for the vines and the HolyVale wine that he produces. The vineyard is small and has a boutique family feel that makes it really special, coupled with the Isles of Scilly rare terroir, it’s well worth a visit.

My wife and I did the tour of the vineyard (happens twice a day, once at 10am and once at 2pm) and we were blown away by the passion of George, the man that runs the winery. They are growing classic grapes there (Pinot noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris) and are trying to grow different grapes to the usual ones you find in England. We love wine and have done a few vineyard tours but we learnt a lot on this one and George makes it very personal.
