As opposed to the other reviews, we are completely satisfied with Holtman services. Met with Hal and he did a great job on,a return that included complicated stock transactions. Try them out.
We had the same experience as commenter named C.R. Our tax prep wasn't complicated, nor was the preparer sloppy, but the amount charged to prepare our Schedule C was absolutely ridiculous!!!IMHO, this company doesn't want to work with small businesses. I started with with company when they were very small, and as their staff grew, so did our rate. I do not recommend this company if you're filing small business / Schedule C.
Without saying any names (as much as I want to call HER out). We have received the worst, most sloppiest CPA service I've ever encountered. She is not consistent and very unorganized. She kept asking for information she already had. I've only worked with her for 2 years and still she cannot get it right. Our taxes are complicated, I won't lie, but instead of someone else who is more experienced taking over, they leave her to do it. She doesn't communicate with her clients till it's too late..
