Unfortunately, Holmertz-Parsons did not provide me with the professional service which I paid for and expected. The reason I was unable to receive the $4000+ that I was owed from the IRS was not because of any mistake made by either the IRS or myself, but was solely a consequence of Holmertz-Parsons inaccuracies in completing plus their negligence in sending my amended tax return. Awful, Corporate return didn't get done until mid-July. No reason for the lateness till it was done and then explained he lost 6 people last year. This is the 7th month of 2023. Made a poor assumption on my contributions, paying much more than I expected.
I have used this firm for a number of years. Bill and his team do an excellent job no matter what the task or issue. I always get honest advice. His staff is very helpful and proficient as well.
This accounting firm will take advantage of you and will rip you off. Jeff not once mentioned to me his rates/prices but will gladly let you take up as much time as you want with him and then at the end of it all charge you 275$/hour that’s 5$ a minute!! His invoice had no breakdown of his time whatsoever and after it was all said and done his employees forgot to send out my info to the bank I was working with at the time for a loan.
