I had a good experience here buying a piano. The owner and the sales are quite knowledgable and they have good personalities. The store has many good pianos. I ended up purchasing something entirely different than I intended because of the owner's recommondation and I am quite happy with it.
4 months ago, my wife, son and I made the 2 hour trek from Santa Barbara to Hollywood Piano in Pasadena. We were looking for a high quality playing piano- no so much an investment - but one that was well made and not outrageously expensive. We had the space for a 9' grand, but there were so many choices. I had grown up playing Baldwin and Knabe, new I didn't like the Yamaha types I had played in college, and we owned a 50 year old Steinway upright.
