Horrendous Guardian ad Litem. She truly only cares about collecting her money. My children are still scarred by this experience 6 years later. She chose to not listen to them even at 14 and 15 years old. Openly admitted she was good acquaintances with my ex husband's lawyer in my first meeting with her. The GAL position needs obliterated. 12 hour course to be an expert on my parenting? Family Court and Holly Davies is a joke.
My experience was consistent with the person who had her as a GAL as a child. She did not listen to my child’s wishes, ignored trauma and domestic violence, and sided with people who lied. She ignored rational, reasonable explanations and evidence and frequently spouted inapplicable sayings such as ‘I don’t have a crystal ball’ to avoid taking responsibility for her illogical decisions.
Awful woman. She was in charge of choosing custody for my brother and I when I was 14 and he was 13 (completely able to choose on our own at that point). Her tone was anything but compassionate. Threatened me with “I’ll choose for you if you don’t want to talk to me” instead of trying to console and break down my emotional barrier. She is just there for the money and it completely shows. Please do not support this woman’s career for your sake, and most importantly, your children’s sake.
Holly talks a good game; but she is ALL about billing and collections. Not my case, but a friend regarding time with the children. Got a "bonus day" and total fees were approximately $10,000
Divorce...level 8 stressor..marathon..would not recommend it, unless absolutely no other way to freedom...Would never recommend Holly Davies as a Guardian. Run folks, run...get anyone else. This is only my opinion. Judge for yourself citizens...Recommend: Get divorced quickly and painlessly and avoid wasting your money here. Be loving to your children...most of all.
