Hollister Moving was recommended to us by our realtor and I was a little skeptical because of a few bad reviews but our realtor said she has always had good reviews from others she recommended so we gave them a shot. Carl came out and went over our house and gave us plenty of packing tips since we are packing ourselves to save money. The estimate came in close to the other one I got and I went with it. We recently used the team for phase 1 of our local move. Our items will be held in storage for a few months (phase 2) so I will review again once those are received (phase 3.) We hired the company for 2 days to move out all belongings from my large home of 42 years. It was a lot for anyone to deal with, and Hollister Moving and Storage got the job done! My move was a complete disaster on my end, I got sick before and didn't get things packed. I called the office to let them know and Julie made the changes to let the movers know that I needed more help. The guys came in and packed up way faster then I could even think possible. They came back the next day to do the move and it was great even though I still felt horrible. The guys were polite and knew where to put things without me having to really think about it. Thanks to the team that moved us. They arrived on time and had the right equipment to move our big safe with the rest of our house stuff. The safe was difficult but they pulled it off without any damage to the house (unlike the last movers). They needed all 4 guys for sure :) We will recommend them to anyone we know that needs to move. Carl did a good job of explaining what was needed to get the job done and it was right on the price estimate that he gave us.
