First off, this is NOT an assisted living facility!! It is strictly INDEPENDENT! Living!! Please stop advertising it incorrectly!! It is a great place to live with wonderful food, lots of activities and a warm group of residents. But it is not the place for those needing a lot of assistance or continual monitoring and care!! Smoky Springs is the place to be! By far the BEST dining experience I’ve had in any other community. Multiple course meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner 7 days a week. The apartments are absolutely pristine from the new remodel.. unlike other places in Gainesville, everything is included in the rate… so we my grandmother wasn’t blind sided each month for gym use, extra meals, activities, transportation, laundromat use, etc… I am so thankful we found Smoky Springs for my grandmother. The atmosphere is wonderful. When you walk in the door, the employees are Pleasant and professional! My overall experience was delightful!
