I moved my Mother in Law into Kalama Heights this past July. I was able to stay with her to get her room furnished and her business affairs taken care of. Mark was super accommodating and the staff went above and beyond to help us during this move. I ate almost every meal with the residents and I was amazed at the portions, the options and quality of the meals. The chief is amazing, this is not ordinary cafeteria food. I highly recommend Kalama Heights to anyone seeking independent living in a comfortable, friendly environment. The staff are kind and considerate, the facilities are comfortable. special needs are easily accommodated though at extra cost to the resident.
I love living at Kalama Heights community here in Kihei on Maui! I retired and made a point of securing a “forever home” to live out my retirement years in the warm sun and close to the beach .The Aloha life on island is great for unwinding, relaxing and renewing. It's a terrible place to live the food is just ok, management is worthless ,dirty restrooms and a bunch of nasty old ladies who like to gossip and destroy reputations of other tenants . Not a good place to send your love ones either.
This facility has been a blessing to our family. About a year ago I contacted Tim from Kalama Heights about an interest in this facility. Tim invited my husband and I to come visit and gave a tour. Knowing this would be a future decision to be made for my husbands step father Larry. We were totally impressed with the facility and Tim's professional and insight views.
