Our tax situation involves foreign home ownership, an LLC, remote work and Social Security so it is not your basic Turbo Tax return. After years of overpaying for accountants who were not knowledgeable in this field, we found John 3 years ago. He has been doing all our taxes ever since and we have been so lucky tohavefoundhim.
I hired John based on the good reviews here (most of which are 6 years old), but was thoroughly disappointed. His communication is awful: unreliable via email and unwilling to talk on the phone. Got tired of chasing him around and ended up paying another accountant to file an amended return due to John's mistakes.
Bully and neglectful of tax duties. John Ohe is the owner. He is a horrible person and the reason that I have incurred penalties for filing late. Blames me for having too many questions, mainly because he never answers my repeated questions.
John was amazing. He was very responsive and answered any questions I had. He made the whole process stress free and super straight forward. Thank you John and the Hola team for a great experience.
I was really very impressed with the depth of John’s knowledge and his professional ethics!
