Hoist Away Bags has something for everyone! I love how unique each piece is, and that Laura takes the time to include the story of the sail in each bag. It’s a wonderful way to repurpose material and help our planet too!
I have purchased several items and love them all. My first was a large tote or stowaway bag and it is great. It has held of for about 8 years so far and i love that i can bring it anywhere and not have to worry about moisture. I recently bought some gifts that Laura let me customize. Laura is quick to respond, super helpful and you can tell works hard to make sure you are happy. I will continue to buy presents from this site!
I can not describe how happy I am with my bag! It is exactly what I have been looking for my whole life! The care and craftmanship that went into designing this bag is obvious! So much detail and thought put into every piece. Even the delightful detail of the story of the sailcloth! Brilliant! I love having these little intimate touches in this beautiful bag! It brings so much character and knowing the history is special. Thank you Laura for my awesome bag! To me, it is a work of art!
Found the shop in Eliot, ME by accident a few years ago because my family owns another nearby business. I got a large bag w/ the drawstring. Love the bag and especially the drawstring top. It keeps everything inside if I overfill.
