Great Service! I ordered at 3:44 PM yesterday & received my order @ 9:56 AM today! Item was 20% le$$ than any place else. Thank you Hodges Marine, I'll be back filling up my shopping cart again.

over the last year i've placed 3 orders with Hodges Marine. the first order they sent me a Humminbird Helix that the buttons did not work on and they offered no prompt solution, luckily Humminbird overnighted me a new unit with a recall tag for the defective unit. second order, a Mega 360 Universal, showed 14 in stock when i placed my order and that stock remained for several hours after placing my order, yet 5 days later when i had to contact them as to why it hadn't shipped nor had i received ANY contact from them and i was lied to about it was in warehouse and should of shipped, then a few days later when i had to contact them again, oh it's out of stock......took another week to be shipped. most recent order, a Y cable for the Mega 360, it arrived USED, the Humminbird packaging was cut open, the cable halfass wadded up and shoved back in and taped up with packing tape. when i contacted them about it being used the lady insists there's no way they shipped it out that way and then accuses me or FedEx of doing it..........umm NO you shipped me a used cable and again i'm expected to be delayed AGAIN for your con game........ there is no customer service at this place.

Hi. We were notified via email about the product condition on 7/29. We asked for pictures and they were provided the same day. We reviewed our stock and did not have any returns of the product so we could only assume that the damage on the package happened during shipping. The same day (7/29) We issued a prepaid return label to return the product and asked if you wanted a refund or a replacement. You notified us today that you prefer to keep the item and use it as it is working. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

I guess I won’t be doing business with Hodges anymore. They fired me as a customer and I really don’t know why. I can only guess. I have made half a dozen or so orders over the past year couple of years. Only one order did I ever have a problem with. I had ordered a sonar transducer about a year ago. The website said that it included a speed sensor. When my order came I did not get the speed sensor. I called and complained and they said that the website was an error and that it was not supposed to include the speed sensor. I said well how about you make that right to me and refund me the cost of the speed sensor sold separately or send me the speed sensor that I was supposed to get. They said they would refund me the cost of the speed sensor sold separately which was $25. I thought that was pretty good of them and I didn’t have a another complaint ever. I did not blast them on social media. I did not post a bunch of negative reviews anywhere. I went on with life. Fast forward to this past Monday, July 6. My washdown pump on my boat went out so I immediately ordered one from Hodges. I got an order confirmation in my email and I thought all was well. This morning, I was thinking it was weird that I hadn’t gotten a tracking number notification from them yet so I logged into my account. It said my order had been canceled. That was weird because I know I have not canceled the order nor have I received a phone call or email from them saying they were some kind of a problem. I gave them a call and they told me after being on hold for a minute or two that they don’t wanna do business with me... ever again. The rep could not tell me why. He just said that they were not for filling any orders for me ever again. Is it really about this speed sensor from over a year ago? I can’t believe that if that’s the reason but it’s the only thing I can think of. Seems pretty petty to me. So long I guess Hodges... the only company I have ever heard of that fires customers.
