Hockmoor Garden Cottage is a beautiful holiday home in idyllic surroundings. The garden is alive with nature, and Hembury woods and the River Dart are a very short walk away. Buckfast Abbey, a monument of Gothic architecture, is also close by. Nick and Judy are wonderful, thoughtful hosts. They gave us eggs from their chickens and showed us how to train their ponies. Separate from the main house, with complete privacy, and in an absolutely gorgeous location, with some lovely walks right outside the door - along the beautiful Holy Brook to Holne and its lovely Church House Inn, or across the river up to the magical Hembury hillfort, yet also within easy walking distance of Buckfast Abbey, and a short drive - or cycle - to Dartington and Totnes.
