if you're looking for a tree stump to represent you, look no further, especially in family court. They complained about lack of money but would not send an invoice, and there's no payment portal. Hockaday withdrew within a few days of 2 court cases regarding child custody because he wouldnt go up against another lawyer who was better than him. Hired for child custody. Outcome was appropriate given the circumstances. He took on Madison County’s most crooked lawyer and didn’t flinch- we got what was reasonable . Would recommend and hire again if needed. If you’re in Madison county that court system is so rigged; Mr. Hockaday understands how to navigate it like a gondolier in Vienna. Has a good heart, down to earth, calm and collected, respectful, and cares about his clients. I’d absolutely recommend his services and expertise.
