Loving my new sewing machine and even though it wasn’t an expensive one I still felt like I was given the best service and information possible. Looking forward to visiting again when I can buy an overlocker.

I was looking for a replacement industrial cover seam machine, I found a pre owned one on the Hobkirk Sewing Machines website, so I make a phone call and was talked to a gentleman called Mark, who was able to answer the questions I had, I sent some fabric samples for them to try on the machine, I agreed to purchase this machine, they then arrived for it to be collected and delivered to me, when the machine arrived it was well wrapped up and protected, I was very impressed with the machine the wasn't a mark on it, it looks br... read more
Steph demonstrated two Janome Overlock machines, went into lots of detail and told me the differences between the two. I specifically wanted Janome as I have had other Janome machines in the past. There was no pressure to choose other makes or go for higher priced machines. I am going back the the shop next week to take them up on the offer of a free lesson. I visited Hobkirks Blackburn this week &. Was helped by a very patient & knowledgeable lady to choose a sewing machine to suit my needs they held stock of most makes & models I thoroughly enjoyed the experience
