YOU CAN PAY OVER THE PHONE!!! Yes, for OVERDUE Exise tax. Just call and ask them. 3% fee. Well worth it, better than taking time off work to go there. They cleared my account immediately while I was still on the phone with them.

First of all, the fact that a town can put your registration/car into virtual prison is RIDICULOUS. Second of all, H&H doesn't even have an answering machine. If I could afford to pay the tax on time, I would have. Won't take payments online. Won't take the money out of savings. They punish the most vulnerable people in this state for not being wealthy, then revoke your registration so. you. can't. make. more. money. WTAF. Predatory.
