YOU CAN PAY OVER THE PHONE!!! Yes, for OVERDUE Exise tax. Just call and ask them. 3% fee. Well worth it, better than taking time off work to go there. They cleared my account immediately while I was still on the phone with them.
First of all, the fact that a town can put your registration/car into virtual prison is RIDICULOUS. Second of all, H&H doesn't even have an answering machine. If I could afford to pay the tax on time, I would have. Won't take payments online. Won't take the money out of savings.
