I joined HMC Federal Credit Union shortly after beginning employment at the Medical Center in 2013. I was told by fellow employees that the credit union offered a convenient, reliable source for basic transactions plus services like checking, club savings, auto loans, etc. Since they only required a $50 initial deposit to open an account, it seemed like a no brainer.
