A year ago, I got a speeding ticket for driving 80km/h on a 60km/h speed limit. The fine was $75 and three points were deducted. I paid a total of $320 in legal fees to the lawyer here to help me deal with this ticket. At the last minute, he asked me to pay $45 and said that he helped me to avoid deductions. I also asked him if my insurance premium would increase as a result. He said that insurance rates would increase every year. So I paid the $45 fine. But this is a guilty!
